Roaring Fork Engineering was responsible for the civil design to obtain the final plat and construction documents for the project. RFE designed the deep utility infrastructure, including water, sewer, and stormwater mains, and provided road and site design for all major corridors, trails, and sidewalks. They also handled shallow utility design and retaining wall design.
RFE designed a new connection for Willits Lane, a frontage road connection to SH 82, an existing pedestrian underpass connection within the CDOT right of way, and a RFTA bus stop. Additionally, they designed fiber optic connections within SH 82 for the traffic signals to work with the new Tree Farm entrance. The water connection required directional boring under the highway, which was permitted through CDOT, and RFE led the permitting process through CDOT.
